The website uses the “Custom Audiences” marketing function of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). By using this function and the corresponding remarketing tags from Facebook, we can target users with advertising based on their interests by showing them personalized Facebook ads when they visit Facebook.

When visiting the ID•U website, a direct link to Facebook’s servers is established via Facebook remarketing tags. The Facebook server is informed about the ID•U websites you have visited. Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account.

SSL encryption (identified by “https://” in the website address on the internet browser) is a data encryption protocol used during the transfer of data from the web server to the internet browser. Personal data is SSL-encrypted during data transmission between the user’s computer and the SSL server.
