Overview:
Linex Forte® is a probiotic that helps restore the balance of intestinal microflora and improves
gastrointestinal function.
It contains lyophilized lactic acid bacteria:

Dosage by Age:
Children 1–2 years:
1 capsule once daily
For those unable to swallow capsules (e.g., children), the capsule can be opened, and
the contents mixed with a small amount of liquid
Children 2–12 years:
1 capsule once or twice daily, depending on symptom severity
Adolescents 12 years and older and adults:
1 capsule 1–3 times daily, depending on symptom severity
Children under 1 year:
Capsules are not recommended; Linex Baby® sachets are preferred

How to Use Linex Forte®:
Take orally with meals to maximize effectiveness
When taking antibiotics, take Linex Forte® 3 hours after the antibiotic
Do not take simultaneously with alcohol or hot drinks
If a dose is missed, do not double the next dose

Mechanism of Action:
Linex Forte® contains probiotic strains (Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium animalis
subsp. lactis) naturally present in healthy human intestines.
These bacteria:
Stimulate intestinal motility and improve bowel transit and mucus secretion
Reduce pathogenic bacteria via:
Lowering intestinal pH
Producing toxic metabolites (e.g., hydrogen peroxide)
Producing antimicrobial substances (bacteriocins), inhibiting growth of bacteria
and fungi, including Helicobacter pylori
Competing with pathogens for nutrients
Stimulate both specific and non-specific immune responses

When to Use:
Linex Forte® is indicated for preventive and maintenance use in adults, adolescents, and
children for:
Diarrhea
Bloating (meteorism)
Other gastrointestinal disturbances
Recommended timing: During meals

Storage:
Store in the original packaging, in a dry place, out of reach of children

Use During Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
No adverse reactions have been reported in pregnancy or breastfeeding

Special caution is advised during acute diarrhea to prevent dehydration or other
complications
Use under medical supervision

Use in Children:
1–2 years: 1 capsule once daily (contents can be mixed with a small amount of liquid if
unable to swallow)
2–12 years: 1 capsule once or twice daily, depending on severity
Under 1 year: Capsules not recommended; use Linex Baby® sachets
